Saptari District is one of the district situated in eastern part of Nepal in Sagarmatha Zone. It covers an area of One thousand three hundred and sixty three square meter and is bordered by Sapta Koshi River in east, Balaha River in west, Udayapur district in north and India in south. People from different cast and communities makes this place their common home. This district has highest number of village development communities and people of different religions such as Hindu, Buddhist, Islam and Cristin makes can be found in this district.

Chinnamasta Bhagawati: This temple is situated in Chinnamasta VDC which is ten kilometer away from the headquarter of Saptari i.e Rajbiraj. This temple is famous for hindu pilgrims people from India and Nepal used to visit this temple frequently.
Kankalini Temple: This temple is situated in Bhardaha VDC and is a famous temple of hindu. A huge number of pilgrims visit this temple during Dashain.
Kanakpatti Palace: This is a place of historical importance. This place is situateKhoksar Prabaha VDC.
Dakneswori Bhagwati: This is a beautiful temple situated in Pato VDC.
Khodardevi Cave: This is a cave situated in Theliya VDC. The beautiful surrounding makes the cave famous among all.
