Arjundhara is also known as the  Pashupathinath of eastern Nepal and is situated in Arjundhara VDC  Jhapa.It is five kilometer away from Britamod.It is the religious destination for Hindu.We can directly travel to Sanischare from  Kathmandu.
It is believe that Arjun  (One of the five Pandava prince) used to come here for grazing his  cows.One day when he gets thirsty and there is no water around, He put  his arrow on his bow and strike the land with his arrow due to which  water comes out of the land and he drank water from it.People believes  that from  the same source of water the pond still full.
It  consist of a large main temple situated at the center near the  pond.There are other small temples too.At the center of the pond there  is a statue of Arjun with two cows on each side.In this statue Arjun is  stretching his bow targeted to the pond.This place is full of pilgrims  during the month of Sharwan, in Balachaturdasi and in Sivaratri.
