Panchthar District is one of the district situated in hilly region of eastern part of Nepal.This district is famous for its natural beauty and different religious place situated in this place. This district is situated at an altitude range from three hundred and eighty three meter to four thousand five hundred and seventy five meter. This district expand in south to north and is covered by Sikkim and Darjeeling of India in east, Terhathum and Dhankuta in west, Taplejung in north and Ilam and Morang in south. This district covers an area of one thousand two hundred and forty one square kilometer.
It is also popularly known as the Pallo Kirat. In past this place was ruled by Limbu and till today majority of population of this district are from Rai and Limbu community.We can also find People from Magar, Sunuwar, Sherpa community.
Phidim is the headquarter of this district and there is easy access of transportation to this place.
There are many place of attraction in this district. Phidim bazzar, Jorsal bazzar, Yasok, Rabi, Chyangthapu, Mehebote, Oyam Sukepokhari are among few of them. We can also visit different lakes and ponds such as Baraha Pokhari, Jore Pokhari etc.

Aangsarang:
It is a small VDC situated in this district. We can reach to this place by three hour of walk from Rake bazzar. This place is popular for the mountain view and trekking. The beautiful landscape and a place of religious significance makes it much more attractive.
Yasok:
It is a small village situated in Pachthar district. we can reach to this place after a few hour of travelling from the headquarter Phidim. It is very interesting place as it is a suffused with many myths and legends associated with the place itself and the people.
