The Rolwaling Valley is situated in the North East of Nepal. Despite the fact that this place is not in the list of trekking destinations however it is one place that lacks nothing in terms of natural beauty.
To reach this place we have to travel to Gongar via bus from old bus park in Kathmandu. We reach Gongar after twelve hour of bus drive. We have to spend our night in this place and start our trek early next morning. If we start our trek early morning than we reach to Simigau by afternoon walking along the Tamakoshi River, we can observe beautiful waterfalls and misty hills.
Simigau is located on the top of a hill, the view from Simigau is breathtaking and we can easily forget the discomfort of trekking when we reach this place. After that we have to continue our trekking through dense forest and gushing white rivers and reached to Dongyang where we can found a couple of tea houses. We have to spend a night here and the next day goal was to reach Na Village.
Na village is the last village before Tsho Rolpa Lake. There are no hotels available after crossing this place. There may be altitude sickness during this trek so we have to walk slow and enjoy the beauty rather than talking lot.We have to spend a night in Na village.
In the early morning we can hike Tsho Rilpa Lake which is among the largest glacier lake in Nepal. We have to hike through the rocky paths and crossed small streams for around two and half hour to reach the lake.
If the weather is clean than we can enjoy the view of snow capped mountains such as Gauri Shankar. The view of lush green hill sides with grazing sheep and yaks and sky blue water flowing river forced us to lost in the beauty of this place.
This place is one of the best place for trekking.
