Patale Chango is situated in the heart of the city of seven lakes i.e. Pokhara. It is located in Kaski District and the importance of this fall is that the fall vanished in the ground and pass through the natural underground tunnel made by the water current.

The source of water of this fall is the water over flow from the Fewa Lake. During rainy season when the water level of Fewa lake increases than this fall shows its real image. A huge current of water vanishing underground and the water falling as shower due to reflection makes the view of this fall really amazing.
This fall is named after the name of a Swiss tourist who was vanished in this fall while swimming in Fewa Lake due to the unexpected rise in water level in Fewa lake.This fall has made a natural underground tunnel of around five hundred feet. During the winter season when the water level reduces than we can view the tunnel made by the water current. We can view the tunnel made by this current from the Gupteshwor Mahadev cave situated nearby the fall.
