Halesi
Mahadev Temple is one of the most holiest and ancient place situated at
Eastern part of Nepal.It lies in Khotang district.We can reach there
via aeroplane service from Kathmandu to Lamidanda.After Lamidada we have
to walk for about six hour to reach this beautiful place.We can also
reach there via regular bus service from Kathmandu to Kathari.From
Kathari we can go there by jeep or by local rented vehicle.
There
are numerous caves situated at this place.The temple is on the top of a
small hill inside a cave.The amazing fact of the temple is that there
are lots of images of different gods on the wall.this naturally build
images looks as if they were made by stone artist.People believe that this cave exist here since six thousand years.There are Three caves which are known as eyes of Lord Shiva.
This
place has a good view of nature as well as it has its own holiest
important so we have to travel this place once in our life.
